I’m Elise Yap, and Darryl, is my brother. We are third-generation Chinese-Jamaicans, born and raised on the hippest island in the world!
Jamaica’s culture is an extraordinary mix of people, histories, traditions and, of course, food. Divine food !
Darryl is the man in the kitchen, equally at home cooking Jamaica's much-loved traditional dishes or happily whipping up what we call Nouvelle Jamaican cuisine. Given our Chinese heritage, he cooks seriously good Hakka Chinese food too. Elise is your host, storyteller and enthusiastic instigator of adventures beyond the usual tourist trail.

Before you arrive, we ask what you love to eat, what you don’t, and about any allergies or dietary requirements you may have, such as low-salt, vegetarian or vegan. The Blue House can be reserved privately for groups of up to 14 guests, with four rooms in the main house and a separate two-bedroom cottage.
