Rates

All our rates are in US dollars. Please know that our published rates could change without notice. A 20% surcharge for taxes and service charge will be added to all our rates. There’s also a $1 per room per night charge for City Tax.

Booking & Payments

To lock in your stay, we need a 50% non-refundable deposit. The full balance is due 60 days before you arrive unless we say otherwise. By booking, you’re cool with us auto-charging the remaining balance on your card at the due date. Bookings made within 60 days of arrival must be paid in full upfront. Any damages or losses will be charged to your card after you check out.

Green Hotel/Eco-Friendly Vibes

We’re big on being green! This means recycling, reusing linens and towels, composting, conserving energy and water, and minimizing chemicals. For a week-long stay, we’ll change your linens twice: once when you arrive and again mid-week. To save energy and keep rates low, please turn off the AC when you’re not in the room and keep doors and windows closed when it’s on. Not doing so will cost you an extra $30 per room per day.

No Smoking Policy

Smoking is a no-go indoors. You’re good to go outdoors as long as you’re not around others. Ignoring this will lead to a $200 per room deep cleaning fee.

Security & Non-Guest Policy

Your safety is our priority! Only the folks on your reservation can stay overnight. No bringing in strangers! If friends or family want to visit you at The Blue House, let us know their names in advance of your arrival for approval. Unapproved visitors will be turned away.

Peace & Quiet

We aim for a family-friendly, chill atmosphere. Please keep it peaceful and avoid disturbing other guests or neighbors.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

If you cancel 60 days or more before your arrival, we’ll help you book a new stay within the next year, applying your full payment minus a $200 cancellation fee per room. We highly recommend “cancel for any reason” trip insurance, as cancellations within 60 days of arrival mean losing your full payment. No refunds or re-booking for no-shows, early departures, or policy violations.

Liability

Safety isn’t guaranteed by The Blue House. Be cautious, especially around the pool and remember you’re in a foreign country. Don’t invite trouble! We aren’t liable for the actions of transportation carriers or other service providers. The Blue House is not responsible for personal injuries, property damage, or any related expenses. By staying with us, you release The Blue House from liability for any loss, distress, injury, or damages.
